A tourist helicopter carrying three people has been reported missing in Japan's Kumamoto Prefecture.
Japanese media reported that a tourist helicopter was scheduled to fly around Mount Aso in Kumamoto Prefecture. It was reported that the helicopter, carrying a pilot and two passengers from Taiwan, sent an emergency signal during the flight. Authorities announced that contact with the helicopter was lost at 11:00 local time and that search and rescue operations had begun in the area.
