New joint flight routes from SunExpress and Eurowings
- 1/30/2026
- 4 Day
SunExpress and Eurowings, a joint venture
between Turkish Airlines and Lufthansa, are expanding their codeshare
agreement. As part of this, direct codeshare flights to 8 new destinations via
Düsseldorf, Stuttgart, and Berlin will be offered, bringing the total number of
destinations in the two airlines' codeshare network to 13.
Under this agreement, certain flights operated by
Eurowings can be booked through all sales channels, including the SunExpress
website, travel agencies, and GDS (Global Distribution System) sales channels,
under the SunExpress flight number (XQ). This allows passengers to travel to
many destinations in Europe with a single reservation through SunExpress. The
first flights will commence as of February 3, 2026.
Düsseldorf, Stuttgart, and Berlin airports serve as
the main connection points between the two airlines, and thanks to the
codeshare agreement, more flexible travel options to different cities in Europe
are offered via these hubs.
SunExpress, which operates scheduled flights to over
240 destinations in 35 countries, provides its passengers with more flight
options and connections through the new codeshare flights.
