Tour operator TUI is seeing exceptionally strong bookings for the fall season. According to TUI Germany CEO Stefan Baumert, this could be "the most popular fall holiday season of all time."
As reported by Touristik Aktuelle, Antalya is leading the demand for TUI's fall bookings, even surpassing Mallorca, Spain’s renowned holiday destination. Baumert notes, "The warm temperatures and excellent value for money make Turkey especially appealing, particularly for families."
In the popularity rankings, after Antalya and Mallorca, Crete and Kos take the third and fourth spots. The top ten is rounded out by Hurghada, Fuerteventura, Rhodes, Faro, Gran Canaria, and Marsa Alam. Along with Antalya, Hurghada and Marsa Alam are showing the highest growth rates for the fall season.
In long-haul destinations, the USA tops the list, followed by the United Arab Emirates, Thailand, the Maldives, and Mauritius. For road trips, Germany ranks first, followed by Austria, Italy, Poland, and the Czech Republic.
