The city of Dandong in China is home to a unique hotel like no other. The Tianzi Hotel offers visitors the opportunity to stay within enormous statues of gods.
This hotel, whose name means "Son of Heaven," is housed within three colossal Chinese gods: Shou, Fu, and Lu. Each god represents a quality believed to be essential for a good life. Shou, on the far left, symbolizes longevity; Fu, in the center, represents good fortune; and Lu, on the far right, signifies prosperity. The entrance to the hotel is through Shou's right foot.
Standing at 41.6 meters tall, the hotel gained attention in 2001 when it was recognized by the Guinness World Records as the "World’s Largest Image Building."
