Spain, one of the world's leading tourism destinations, set a new record in both the number of tourists and tourism revenue during the 2024 season.
According to a statement by the National Statistics Institute of Spain (INE), the country hosted 53.37 million tourists in the January-July period of 2024, marking a 12% increase compared to the same period of the previous year.
It was also reported that Spain welcomed 10.9 million tourists in just the month of July.
Tourism revenue exceeded 71 billion euros in the first seven months, showing an 18.6% increase compared to the same period in 2023.
