The engine of a plane caught fire in the USA: 282 passengers evacuated

It was reported that 282 passengers were
evacuated after the engine of a plane about to take off from Orlando
International Airport in the US state of Florida caught fire.
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and Delta
Airlines made a statement regarding the engine of the ‘Airbus A330’ model aircraft
catching fire. In the statement, it was noted that one of the two engines of
the plane with 282 passengers caught fire shortly after the plane left Orlando
International Airport for Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport in
the state of Georgia.
First aid and fire brigades at the airport responded
to the fire after the engine caught fire from the exhaust pipe, the statement
said, adding that 282 passengers were evacuated with emergency slides. The FAA
launched an investigation into the incident, in which no one was killed or
injured.
