Corendon Airlines, one of Europe's leading airline companies, celebrated its 20th anniversary with a spectacular Gala Night at Antalya Cosmos Theater.

The night, organized with the theme “20 Happy Flight Years”, brought together distinguished names from the world of aviation and tourism, as well as public institutions, business, sports, politics and media.

Among the attendees of the night hosted by Başak Koç were Hulusi Şahin, Governor of Antalya, Muhittin Böcek, Mayor of Antalya Metropolitan Municipality, Yusuf Hacısüleyman, President of Antalya Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Acun Ilıcalı, Yılmaz Vural and Ertem Şener.

Corendon Airlines, which started its journey in the sky in 2005 with the motto “Holiday Airline”, has introduced many innovations and offered a comfortable and inspiring travel experience to millions of guests. Making a difference with its innovative approach and strong collaborations in the sector, the airline organized a magnificent night to celebrate its 20-year success story.

The Gala Night held at Antalya Cosmos Theater, where art, entertainment and technology are intertwined, was hosted by Yıldıray Karaer, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Corendon Airlines and Atılay Uslu, Co-Founder of Corendon Tourism Group. The event attracted great interest and was attended by business partners from many countries such as Turkey, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, Belgium, Egypt, England, Austria, public institutions, aviation and tourism sectors, business, sports, politics and media world.

More than an airline...

Delivering the opening speech of the Gala Night, Yıldıray Karaer talked about Corendon Airlines' adventure in the sky and made the following statements: “Twenty years ago, my partner Atılay and I decided to establish Corendon Airlines on a car journey from Brussels to Amsterdam. Our goal was not only to establish an airline, but to become a holiday airline that brings people together with safe, comfortable and heartfelt service. With a fleet of 35 aircraft, we have become a family that touches 10 million passengers a year and generates significant revenues for the tourism industry. We are proud of our achievements, but our journey is not over. We still want to develop, provide quality service and meet in the sky for many more years together.”

In his speech, Karaer thanked his valuable business partners, employees, whom he described as “the heart of the company”, and millions of passengers who prefer Corendon and said, “We are very happy to share this very special night with you as we celebrate our 20th anniversary. Let's continue to fly towards the future together.”

A night full of stars

The Gala Night was crowned with unforgettable performances. The stage was entrusted to artists representing the destinations flown by Corendon Airlines and carrying the spirit of the cities they live in. Famous Spanish singer Nalaya Brown, successful percussionist Yusuf Özer and the All Star Team, French-Lebanese singer and dancer Carolina Karam, The Big Band with their impressive stages, Hunkar Dance Show and Ivi Adamou with her energetic stage performance offered an audio-visual feast to the audience. The night ended with Juni Juliet's after party performance.

The stage concept of the night was reflected in the dinner menu. The dinner served to the guests brought together the unique flavors of the destinations on Corendon Airlines' route. The dinner took the guests on a tour of world flavors, with the taste of a different destination on every plate and the traces of another culture in every bite.
