Explosion at Etna Volcano during tourists' visit

Etna, the most active volcano in Europe,
located on the Italian island of Sicily, has become active again.
The Etna
Observatory of Italy's National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology (INGV)
stated that the eruption occurred southeast of the volcano. The eruption
occurred during a visit by tourists. The moments when tourists fled the area in
fear and panic were reflected on the cameras. It was noted that the lava and
ash flow that the mountain spewed during the eruption did not reach the Lion
Valley, a point near the summit, where tourist trips end.
Flights to the region were diverted to different
airports due to the eruption. No loss of life or property was reported in the
eruption.
The last significant eruption at Etna Volcano occurred
last February.
