Stéphane Maquaire new global president and CEO of Club Med

Club Med has made an important appointment
in its global senior management: Stéphane Maquaire has taken office as the new
President and CEO of Club Med Holding. Maquaire, who stands out with his
international experience and leadership competencies, aims to continue the
brand's profitable growth and further strengthen it in international markets.
In addition to the current strategy, the new period will focus on new
opportunities in the rapidly transforming world of travel and tourism.
Commenting on the appointment, Xiaoliang Xu, Co-CEO of
Fosun International, the main shareholder of Club Med, and Chairman of Fosun
Tourism Group and Club Med Holding, said: "Stéphane has deep experience in
consumer-oriented industries and a strong track record of international
success. We are confident that he will accelerate the momentum Club Med has
achieved to date and write the brand's new story. We are grateful to Henri
Giscard d'Estaing for his extraordinary leadership and contributions over the

hospitality and lifestyle to the world stage."
Stéphane Maquaire, who has taken up his new role,

Following his appointment, Maquaire met with the
company's current Deputy General Managers to discuss operational priorities.
During the same period, Philippe Heim and Takuya Yamada joined the Club Med
Board of Directors as new members.
Who is Stéphane Maquaire?
Stéphane Maquaire is known for his success in
transformation processes of premium brands and multinational commercial
operations. Most recently, he was the Executive Director of Carrefour Brazil
and Latin America, where he oversaw a €20 billion operation and implemented key
initiatives such as the Walmart integration, the expansion of the Atacadao
format and the development of omni-channel strategies.
Maquaire started his career at Arthur Andersen and
later held various senior management positions at Unibail-Rodamco, Monoprix,
Vivarte and the Swiss retail chain Manor. Her digital transformation and
sustainability-oriented repositioning process at Monoprix was recognized as
exemplary in the industry. Her sensitivity to inclusivity, accessible
leadership and sustainability make her a natural fit with Club Med's culture.
