The EU is preparing to end strict rules on liquids in hand luggage for air travelers.

The European Union (EU) has taken a step to lift this restriction, which was taken to prevent terrorist attacks. According to DW, the use of scanners that can reliably detect whether liquids contain explosives has been approved. Following this decision, it may be possible to allow beverages, liquid foods and cosmetics in hand luggage.
