Texas politicians were evacuated from their hotel in Illinois after a bomb threat was reported.

The St. Charles Police Department in Illinois reported that a bomb threat had been made against the hotel where Texas Democratic politicians were staying. As a result, the politicians and approximately 400 other people were evacuated from the hotel and the area.

Bomb disposal teams searching the area did not find any suspicious items.
