The passports of 47 Israeli tourists in
Bosnia and Herzegovina were accidentally thrown away. Some of the Israeli
tourists stranded at their hotel claimed that their passports had been
deliberately thrown away.
The 47 Israeli tourists, who had planned to leave
Bosnia and Herzegovina yesterday, were unable to leave the country because
their passports were accidentally thrown into a trash can at the hotel
reception. According to reports in the Israeli press, the tourists learned that
their passports had been accidentally thrown away after security cameras were
reviewed. One of the tourists who spoke to the Israeli media said, “The
passports were taken from the trash can at the reception desk to the trash
trucks, and then to a local landfill. We were offered to stay at the hotel for
another 48 hours, maybe even longer. We are afraid that we may be stuck here
for more than a week.”
While the Israeli media reported the hotel's statement
that the passports had been accidentally thrown away, one of the tourists said,
"This is a very strange situation. How could someone throw passports in
the trash? Everyone is silent. We suspect they were thrown away because they
had the Israeli emblem on them. We are waiting for a clear answer because this
is a serious act that harms people. We asked how it happened, but we still
haven't received an answer."
