Slower increase in package holiday prices

In August 2025, the price of package
holidays in the EU increased by 2.5% compared with August 2024.
The price of domestic holidays recorded a higher
increase (+6.8%) than the international holiday packages (+1.6%).
The prices of package holidays have increased at a
more moderate pace since May 2025 (+1.7% compared with May 2024). For
comparison, throughout 2024 and early 2025, annual increases were below 7% only
in July 2024 and March 2025.
In August 2025, the highest price increases were
recorded for the package holidays sold in Estonia, where prices rose by 39.5%
compared with August 2024. Bulgaria followed with a 23.0% increase, ahead of
Denmark with 12.0%.
In contrast, 3 EU countries recorded price decreases:
Belgium (-7.0%), Sweden (-5.6%) and Spain (-0.1%).
