Wyndham Hotels & Resorts has
strengthened its partnership with Gorgeous Smiling Hotels (GSH) by signing an
agreement for 25 more hotels in Germany and Austria, two strategically
important markets in Europe.
Following the recent merger of GSH and Aspire Hotel
Group, the agreement, which covers a total of nearly 2,500 rooms, marks an
important milestone in the partnership between Wyndham and GSH, established in
2016 and now one of Wyndham's strongest partnerships in the Germany, Austria,
and Switzerland (DACH) region.
Each of the hotels joining the Wyndham portfolio under
this agreement, which includes popular cities such as Stuttgart, Munich,
Hanover, and Vienna, stands out with its unique characteristics and location,
appealing to travelers for leisure, business, and events.
Dimitris Manikis, President of Wyndham Hotels &
Resorts EMEA, said, "The DACH region is one of Europe's most dynamic and
strategically important regions, bringing together key business centers,
vibrant vacation destinations, and high international travel volume. By
expanding our partnership with Gorgeous Smiling Hotels, we are strengthening
our presence in key cities such as Munich, Vienna, and Stuttgart, where demand
for high-quality accommodations is on the rise. This allows us to grow our
volume and strengthen our market leadership while also increasing our capacity
to deliver exceptional experiences to our guests, creating long-term value for
our partners and investors."
Gorgeous Smiling Hotels CEOs Heiko Grote and Andreas
Erben said, "We were previously proud to be the first company to bring the
Super 8 brand to Germany, marking an important milestone that reflects the
strength of our long-term partnership with Wyndham. With the addition of 25
more hotels to the Wyndham portfolio, we are deepening this collaboration,
combining our local expertise with Wyndham's global scale, and thus creating
long-term value. We are taking our shared vision for growth in Germany,
Austria, and Switzerland even further."
