It was reported that 15 people, including Representative Diogenes Quintero Amaya, were killed in a small plane crash in Colombia.

George Quintero, Secretary of Citizen Security for Norte de Santander, announced that the wreckage of the plane was found by farmers in the village of Curasica, near the town of La Playa.

Quintero noted that the 13 passengers and 2 crew members on board the plane lost their lives and said that numerous search and rescue teams had been dispatched to the area.
