It was reported that a Montreal-bound ‘CRJ-900’ aircraft collided with a fire truck on the runway while landing at LaGuardia Airport in New York City. Authorities announced that operations at the airport were suspended following the incident and that numerous emergency response teams were dispatched to the area.

The New York Fire Department confirmed that an incident occurred on the runway at LaGuardia Airport at 11:40 p.m. local time, but did not provide further details.
