The Spanish city is moving to limit holiday accommodations amid local ‘touristflation’ woes in a country that has seen large-scale anti-tourism demonstrations.
Officials in Valencia have signed off on new rules to
clamp down on the number of holiday homes across the city.
The latest regulations, announced this week by the
City Council of Valencia, stipulate that holiday homes and apartments cannot
exceed more than 2% of the total housing stock in each of the city's
neighbourhoods and districts. (Euronews)
