Shanghai Airlines successfully flew the first flight on its new direct Shanghai-Penang route.
From Travel Daily Media, this new service connecting Shanghai and the Malaysian city of Penang flies thrice a week using a Boeing 738 aircraft with a capacity of 168 passengers.
Passengers aboard the 2 August flight to Penang International Airport from Shanghai were welcomed by Tourism Malaysia deputy chairman Yeoh Soon Hin together with representatives from Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad (MAHB), Penang Global Tourism (PGT), and Shanghai Airlines.
