easyJet holidays marked the arrival of easyJet’s seventh based aircraft at Glasgow Airport with a celebration that brought together travel agent partners and airport representatives to celebrate the airline and tour operator’s continued investment in Scotland.

Held at Glasgow Airport, the celebrations included a speech from easyJet holidays’ CEO, Garry Wilson, who reflected on easyJet and easyJet holidays’ growth in the region, new routes and package holidays available this summer – including Pisa, Sharm El Sheikh and Malta – and the important role of travel agents in easyJet holidays’ success in Glasgow.

easyJet holidays also hosted a giveaway where agents representing Barrhead Travel, Glen Travel, The Good Travel Company, Blixen Travel and Barrhead Franchise Falkirk gave five lucky easyJet and easyJet holidays customers, returning from their holiday, £500 in easyJet holidays credit to spend on their next getaway.

Natasha Marson, Head of Trade Distribution at easyJet holidays, commented: “Glasgow holds a special place in easyJet’s history, and travel agents across the region have been crucial to easyJet holidays’ success. As we celebrate the arrival of a seventh aircraft at Glasgow Airport, we’re also recognising the strength of our travel agent partnerships and our shared commitment to delivering fantastic choice, great value and unforgettable holiday experiences for customers.”
