Jet2 has been recognised at the Aviation Industry Awards UK 2026, winning the Apprenticeship Programme award and earning finalist status in the Sustainability award category.
The Apprenticeship Programme award recognises the commitment that Jet2 have made to developing talent and investing in the next generation of aviation and travel professionals. The award highlights the success of the company’s apprenticeship programmes, which cover a wide range of roles across the business and underlines the importance of apprenticeships within the aviation sector, particularly in areas like engineering.
The achievement reflects the dedication of colleagues across Jet2 who work as One Team to deliver and support the programme, ensuring apprentices have the opportunity to learn and grow with the company.
The judges praised the apprenticeship programme for its strong focus on career development, upskilling and creating pathways into the industry, helping apprentices gain meaningful experience while contributing to the continued success of the leading leisure airline and UK’s largest tour operator.
In addition, Jet2 was also named as a finalist in the Sustainability award category, recognising the company's ongoing commitment to taking tangible actions to drive positive change, for instance through investment in quieter, cleaner Airbus A321neo aircraft, weight reduction initiatives and the electrification of Jet2 owned ground services equipment.
