Dubai Crown Prince and UAE Deputy Prime Minister Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum stated that Dubai hosted over 9.3 million international visitors in the first half of 2024, adding, "Dubai continues to break new tourism records."

The Dubai Crown Prince made the following statement: "Dubai continues to break new tourism records by hosting over 9.3 million international visitors in the first half of 2024. This performance, which recorded an impressive growth of 9% compared to the same period last year, reflects the strategic growth vision outlined in Mohammed bin Rashid's Dubai Economic Agenda D33, which aims to solidify the city's status as one of the world's top three tourism destinations. We thank the Dubai government teams and private sector partners for these extraordinary results. With an unwavering focus on excellence, Dubai continues to create unforgettable experiences for global travelers and set new standards in the international tourism industry."
