The Algarve, famous for its incredible scenery, delicious wine, and warm weather, has a major challenge: running out of water. This is not a problem for the future, but one for now.

From Euronews, farmers face an uphill battle to ensure their crops and livestock survive. However, the combined strain of reduced rainfall and overconsumption of water by the high number of tourists makes this difficult.
