easyJet holidays launches new campaign to spotlight hidden destination gems

2 min read

Package holiday provider easyJet holidays has today launched One Street Over, a new campaign featuring travel creators Ryan and Jade from Live The Dash, designed to inspire holidaymakers to discover the lesser-known corners of Europe’s best-loved destinations.

Filmed in Paris, the series sees Ryan and Jade race across the capital, completing a set of challenges set by easyJet holidays while uncovering museums, galleries, parks, markets and local landmarks beyond the city’s busiest tourist areas.

The video content is designed to show both first-time visitors and returning holidaymakers a different side of Paris, helping them discover new experiences and reasons to explore beyond the well-known sights.

The campaign forms part of easyJet holidays’ Holiday Better ESG strategy, which aims to help make a positive difference to the destinations customers visit, including by encouraging visitors to explore beyond traditional tourism hotspots and helping spread the economic benefits of tourism more widely.

Matt Callaghan, Chief Operating Officer at easyJet holidays, said: “We believe travel can be a force for good, and One Street Over is based on a really simple idea: sometimes the best part of a holiday is just around the corner from the places everyone already knows. We want to encourage our customers to explore a little further, discover more of the neighbourhoods, people and businesses that make a destination special, and hopefully find something they weren’t expecting. That makes for a better holiday, but it also means more of the money spent by tourists reaches different parts of a destination. That’s good for our customers and good for the places they visit.”
