The Spanish company announces 19% growth in ticket issuance during the third quarter at the World Aviation Festival and reinforces its commitment to international diversification.
Euroairlines has increased its monthly sales by 53% since June and issued 19% more tickets during the third quarter compared with the same period in 2025.
The Spanish company announced these results at the World Aviation Festival, one of the leading international events dedicated to technology in aviation. A key focus of the event, taking place in Lisbon from 13 to 15 October, is air distribution and new sales models. Euroairlines is an example of rapid growth and technological development: it has evolved from an aviation technology startup into one of the four leading global air super-distributors.
Its progress is underpinned by greater market diversification and the expansion of its airline portfolio. Between January and September, sales increased by 14.6% compared with the same period last year. The company added 27 new airlines in 2026, 22 of which were already generating sales in the third quarter, accounting for 25% of the total sales volume during that period.
Portugal plays a prominent role in its international connectivity strategy. A key example is its agreement with Azores Airlines, part of the SATA Group, which enables the Portuguese airline to expand the distribution of its routes through Euroairlines' IATA ticketing plate and gain access to travel agencies, online booking platforms and other sales channels in more than 75 countries.
Founded in Spain in 2000, the company closed 2025 with €25 million in sales through its platform, five times its 2023 figure. Its strategy combines international expansion with the integration of artificial intelligence tools to optimise fares, anticipate demand and improve booking management and customer service.
