Mandarin Oriental is delighted to introduce Mandarin Oriental Punta Negra, Mallorca, welcoming its first guests this month.

This exquisite transformation on the island's coveted southwest coastline in Calvià is near the elegant Puerto Portals, an exclusive marina known for prestigious regattas, fine dining and luxury brands. This is the third property in Spain, following Mandarin Oriental, Barcelona and Mandarin Oriental Ritz, Madrid. To celebrate the opening, the resort's team has put together a special "Be the First to Stay" accommodation package.

A deep connection to place

Originally home to the historic Hotel Punta Negra, the site is framed by Aleppo pine trees, secluded coves and sweeping Mediterranean views. Preserving the spirit of its past while embracing a modern vision, the resort blends contemporary design, Mediterranean spirit, and the island's natural beauty and heritage in harmony.

Set across lush gardens and dramatic coastal terrain, Mandarin Oriental Punta Negra, Mallorca features 131 elegantly appointed rooms and suites, a world-class collection of dining destinations, a signature wellness sanctuary, and carefully selected leisure and cultural experiences.

Refined lifestyle combined with natural beauty

Every journey is designed to be seamless from the very first moment, and guests may arrive in effortless style with an exclusive private yacht transfer service. At the resort, guests might enjoy the thoughtfully designed art pathway that connects galleries and site-specific installations, or the world-class golf courses and scenic cycling routes across the island. Tennis by the sea and yoga sessions overlooking Punta Negra's coastline offer further ways for guests to immerse themselves in the island experience.

Rich gastronomy

The gastronomic experience reflects a rich Spanish food culture where life revolves around the table. At Mandarin Oriental Punta Negra, Mallorca, local traditions meet visionary creations from internationally acclaimed chefs. Each chef expresses a distinct identity and each restaurant serves up its own world of flavours, textures and emotions.

Wellness

Rooted in cultural authenticity and elevated by contemporary expertise, the Spa at Mandarin Oriental Punta Negra, Mallorca offers more than treatments. It presents a holistic lifestyle of wellbeing, blending Mediterranean soul with Oriental philosophy to create a refined sense of balance, calm and renewal.
