Rixos Hotels Egypt achieved an extraordinary success by winning seven prestigious awards at the 2026 World Travel Awards Africa.
The World Travel Awards Africa Gala Ceremony, which brought together leading representatives of Africa’s travel and hospitality industry, was held in Zanzibar on August 28, 2026.
Erkan Yıldırım, CEO of Rixos Hotels Egypt, commented on the awards, saying: “We are immensely proud to return with seven awards from the World Travel Awards. This achievement reflects the hard work of our teams and our commitment to consistently providing our guests with an unforgettable vacation experience of the highest standards. We sincerely thank all our guests and business partners for their trust and support.”
The seven awards also highlight the diversity of Rixos’s portfolio in Egypt and its ability to cater to a wide range of vacation expectations. The brand offers a variety of accommodation options that showcase the unique features of each destination for families, couples, and guests seeking luxury vacations.
The awards came at a time when Egypt continues to strengthen its position in international tourism. Rixos Egypt currently operates in the country’s leading tourist destinations, including Sharm El Sheikh, Hurghada, and Alexandria.
