The U.S. has urged its citizens not to travel to Israel and Lebanon.

In a statement issued by the U.S. Embassy in Israel, it was reported that the security situation in the Middle East remains complex due to high tensions in the region and that an unpredictable escalation could occur. The statement advised those traveling to or through the region to contact their airlines to determine whether flights are proceeding as scheduled.

The Lebanese press, meanwhile, shared the security advisory issued by the U.S. Embassy in Beirut. The advisory urged U.S. citizens not to travel to Lebanon and to reassess their travel plans to the Middle East or through the region. The Embassy called on U.S. citizens in the region to remain vigilant, monitor developments, and confirm with their airlines whether their flights are proceeding as scheduled.
