Miss Aura International 2026 Isabella Rossini returned to Antalya for an official visit from September 7–15, experiencing the region through adventure, culture and local traditions.
The 20-year-old beauty queen from the Czech Republic was crowned Miss Aura International 2026 on May 22 in Kemer, Antalya. A professional model, singer and theatre actress, Isabella was previously named I Vice Miss and Miss Sympathy at Miss České Republiky 2025.
Originally from Olomouc, she combines her international modelling career with theatre, music and university studies. She is also an experienced traveller who has completed the Camino de Santiago three times, covering more than 1,600 kilometres in total.
Her September return to Türkiye brought her back to the region where she received the international crown, this time not for a competition, but to discover Antalya and Türkiye beyond the pageant stage.
During the visit, Isabella went scuba diving in the Mediterranean Sea and paragliding from Mount Tahtalı, experienced Turkish coffee culture and explored historic Kaleiçi.
Her journey also took her to Pamukkale, where she took a hot-air balloon flight, visited the ancient city of Hierapolis and Cleopatra Pool.
A special cultural part of the programme introduced Isabella to the region’s centuries-old carpet-weaving tradition. She met local weaver Ayşe Taç hanım, who began learning the craft from her mother at the age of eight. She taught Isabella about traditional weaving techniques and the use of natural dyes obtained from plant roots.
From the Mediterranean coast and the mountains of Antalya to historic Kaleiçi and the ancient landscapes of Pamukkale, Isabella’s September visit combined adventure, history and Turkish culture, presenting the region to her growing international audience through the eyes of the reigning Miss Aura International.
Isabella Rossini Speaks to Tourism Today Upon Her Arrival in Antalya
Tourism Today News met with Isabella Rossini on September 7, shortly after her arrival in Antalya and before the official programme of her visit began. We spoke with her about her experiences in Türkiye and Antalya during the Miss Aura International competition, the moments she remembered most and what she was looking forward to during the week ahead.
You spent a lot of time in Türkiye and Antalya during the competition. Did you like Türkiye and Antalya?
Yes, I loved it. It was my first time in Türkiye during Miss Aura International, so I really enjoyed it. I had never been to Türkiye before, and Antalya really surprised me. Antalya is beautiful. It was amazing to spend a few weeks here and to see the local culture.
Do you like Turkish food? What was your favourite thing about Turkish food?
I love, if I can say, tea. It’s more like a beverage, but I really like Turkish tea and then the traditional Turkish bread. We went to a local place with the girls. We were making gözleme there, and it was an amazing experience for me because I was sitting there with the local ladies, making it together with them. It was amazing.
You did many activities with the other girls. Which activity did you like the most?
Oh, I loved skydiving. You know, we went under the water with Adnan, the founder of the competition, and it was a big step out of my comfort zone. But it was beautiful under the water. I am a Pisces, my zodiac sign, so I love to watch marine life. I was very scared. There’s even a post about it where I’m praying, “Please, I want to survive.” But it was amazing, and I’m very much looking forward to doing it again tomorrow. I’m going skydiving again. It’s really good.
You spent another week in Türkiye and visited different places. Which place excited you the most?
I have to say Pamukkale—it’s truly beautiful. Since it’s such a beautiful and special place for photos, I put together a great outfit. I was also excited about all the extreme activities I’d be doing here. For example, paragliding. I was eagerly looking forward to that. Seeing Türkiye’s nature from different angles really excited me. I saw some beautiful scenery. I’d say these were the two experiences I was most looking forward to.
Did you like the Turkish people? How did they react to you and the competition?
Yes, I like Turkish people very much. They are very friendly, they are helpful, and they really welcomed me here very well. I felt at home, and it was a very nice feeling because when you come to another country, you sometimes feel lonely, you don’t feel welcome. But here I felt at home. Everyone was so kind, so helpful, always smiling. I like Turkish people and all the people that I’ve met in Türkiye. So I have very nice experiences in Antalya and Türkiye.
Would you like to come back to Türkiye?
Oh, definitely. Definitely not just one time. I’m planning to come as often as possible. It’s very close to the Czech Republic. It’s a three-hour flight, so it is definitely not that hard for me to get here. And I’m planning to take my family with me and show them Türkiye because they’ve never been here. And I think they would love it.
Is there anything else you would like to say?
Women are like diamonds; they are shaped by adversity. Every challenge, every mistake, and every new beginning has made us the women we are today. Miss Aura showed me how to remain kind and strong, whether no one is watching or whether I’m in the spotlight. I believe we will carry these lessons, experiences, and friendships in our hearts for the rest of our lives.
